Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-03-08
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using WalletMap, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
2. Service Description
WalletMap is a personal asset tracking application that allows you to manage bank accounts, stock holdings, and cryptocurrency portfolios. All your financial data is stored exclusively in your own Google Sheets — our servers never store your sensitive financial information.
3. Google Account Requirement
You must sign in with a valid Google account to use WalletMap. By signing in, you authorize us to access your Google Sheets for reading and writing your asset data. We only access the specific spreadsheet created for your use.
4. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data stored in your Google Sheets. WalletMap does not claim any rights to your financial data. You can view, edit, or delete your data directly in Google Sheets at any time, and your data persists even if you stop using our service.
5. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
- You must not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purposes.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
- You must not attempt to disrupt or compromise the service infrastructure.
6. Intellectual Property
The WalletMap application, including its design, code, and branding, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the application without prior written consent.
7. Financial Data Disclaimer
Asset prices, exchange rates, and market data displayed in WalletMap are sourced from third-party providers (CoinGecko, FinMind, Yahoo Finance, ExchangeRate-API) and are provided for informational purposes only. This is not financial advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market data.
8. Advertising and Third-Party Content
- WalletMap displays ads served by Google AdSense on public pages (homepage, blog, guides, feature pages). This is the primary way we keep the service free. The dashboard and pages that show your personal financial data do not display ads.
- Ad content is provided by Google and its partners and does not represent an endorsement or recommendation by WalletMap. We are not responsible for the products, services, offers, or conduct of advertisers shown in those ads.
- If you click an ad and transact with the advertiser, that transaction is solely between you and the advertiser — WalletMap is not a party to it. Please evaluate the advertiser's credibility and terms before transacting.
- We have agreed with Google not to share the financial data you store in your Google Sheets for advertising purposes. For details on advertising cookies and data use, see Section 8 of our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
WalletMap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to financial losses based on displayed data, or any losses resulting from interactions with third-party ads.
10. Service Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your data remains in your Google Sheets and is unaffected.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will indicate the last updated date at the top of this page.
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13. Contact
